DAYTON It's usually a good idea to travel light when you go to Urban Nights in downtown Dayton. That way, you can wander here and there and see a lot.
But at least one lucky participant will be acquiring a refrigerator on Friday, Sept. 12.
And it's not just any old fridge.
This one, of the more unusual items in a 'blind auction' that will be part of the open house at the Schuster Performing Art Center, has been autographed by a bunch of famous folks who have worked at the Victoria Theatre Association's venues and have paused to autograph the backstage appliance.
Bill Cosby, Jerry Lewis, Regis Philbin, Jerry Seinfeld, Joan Rivers, Danny Glover, Gerry Faust, Scott Hamilton, Shirley Jones, Larry Gatlin, Yo Yo Ma, Jack Hanna, Peggy Fleming, Charles Osgood and Rita Moreno are among those who have signed it
