Newly released grand jury transcripts paint a picture of deplorable conditions at the home of four-year-old Jason Rimer. He died in June, after authorities say he was left inside the family's sport utility vehicle for 18 hours. The transcript of more than 500 pages contains photos taken by Metro Police detectives. One specialist described the Rimer's southeast valley home as unkept, with odors associated with long term inattention. Bird and dog waste was also found in the home, and the refrigerator in the kitchen wasn't stocked and not very clean. A Metro CSI investigator also found a second refrigerator in the bedroom of parents Stan and Colleen Rimer, which the investigator says had more food inside than the unit in the kitchen. Boxes, debris and furniture were also found scattered around the 34-hundred-square-foot home. According to the grand jury testimony, the Rimer's adult daughter called the home's condition unsafe and unsanitary. Stanley and Colleen Rimer have pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and child abuse for the death of Jason. Their trial is set to begin September 8th
